happy, sad or should i be glad?

im happy cause...
i got into nanyang. yipee! haha. i guess im thankful to God for taking good care of me :)

im sad because...
school's starting next week and i have to stop helping out in CBK.
so today was my last day! :( oh well but i still got to hug all the kids! hahaha. :D

im glad because...
my college life is starting soon and i cant wait for what is installed for ME. WOOHOO>

im so dead because...
i totally threw my face out of the window TONIGHT. HAHAHA. oh dear.
but i had loads of fun

im in a tight situation because...
im still thinking of how i can arrange my songs :)
tough being a WL eh? haha. talk about it man! LOL

so ANYWAY. im going to Zzzzz. and i just want to tell everybody that got their postings today to LEAVE EVERYTHING IN GOD's hands.

you can only APPPEAL to a certain extent or even do as much and the rest just leave it to God.

HELLO! :) im like super super tired now. just got back home from malaysia... a 4 hour long journey. GOODNESS LA. its super tiring. haha but anyway i always have enjoyed car journeys cause you know what, im a CAR BABY! :) hehehe.

when i was young, i was a BIG BIG cry baby. so one day my parents finally had enough of me and decided to bring me to go for a drive. but before we even left the carpark, i was already sleeping in the car. HAHA. until this very day, i will always sleep in my dad's car without fail. i tell you WITHOUT FAIL. MUAHAHA. like whatever thats actually something to be proud of. LOL. :)

so anyway, CNY was really fun. HAHA. uncle donald's place is super NEW NICE AND BIG. like a palace. pictures are on olive's blog so go seee. haha we had lots of fun taking crazy photos. and we totally went HIGH on burst. (a function in camera phone where they take 4 shots continuously) so we look like we're moving when you see all 4 pictures consecutively. HAHA it was really hilarious. jumping all around the house like mad people, my cousins were soooooo FUNNY haha. they've never played it before so yeah we had loads of fun.

my grandfather also went high with us. TO OUR UTMOST SHOCK, he even posed with us on the camera..... not only that BUT he did a really funny ACT CUTE face in the camera. to think our AH GONG a 70 plus year old man posing with us!!!!! omgomgomg. i think the sky's going to fall and bounce. HAHAHA. but anyway,,, i've really gotten to know my grandfather more and frankly, he is just sooooo lovable :D hahaha <3 YEAH!

and and and do you know that on the night of our reunion dinner, my grandfather prayed for the first time in his entire life for the dinner! like WOAH MAN. he said a simple yet touching prayer that moved me. :) awww. haha i love him to the MAX.

anyway. iwent to malaysia on the second day which was yesterday and came back today which was just now. spent my time in malaysia eating my grandmother's wonderful and delicious cooking!! HAHA. i seriously think i have grown fatter. CRAP LA> haha ANYWAY watched inkheart with my cousins yesterday night too. nice show. good plot but not a lot of action. haha the popcorn was SO-SO only i think singapore one better. hehe :) slept at like 2 plus? after we ate roti prata for supper. SEEE i told you im getting fatter. AIYA. super sad. :(

SO one good thing about the whole trip was that I BOUGHT THIS SUPER CUTE SPONGEBOB SQUAREPANTS PJS AND IM WEARING IT NOWWWW! MUAHAHA :D its super nice and comfortable and most of aLL CHEAP! haha i just looveee shopping at the REJECT SHOP. super cool name for a super cool shop and for super cool people like ME to go tooo. WHEEE!

okAY so tomorrow's a super packed day too, morning till afternoon ill be at CBK helping out with the KIDS. like OH MAN, i really need to sleep now;HAHA. then after that join the other's to go bai nian at 2 of my friend's house. GOODNESS one in orchard and another in dover i think, WHY DO PEOPLE JUST HAVE TO LIVE SOOOO FAR FROM ME? im sooo nice you know :( HAHA. okay so anyway iHOPE everybody enjoyed their CNY and have collected LOTS of angpao! lol BYEBYE everybody. haha. these few days i've been helping out in CBK. and it really got me thinking..

was i ever once like those kids? HAHA. i doubt i can even remember.

being with those little children made me realise how simple life actually is.

they are sooooo easily amused at the little things around them. for example, there
is this boy called jing en that just laughs his head off when i make funny faces at him. and to tell you the truth... its just those silly faces that i myself wouldn't laugh at. but still he did. and his laughter was just music to my ears. he even put his hand over his mouth. how cute is that?! HAHA.

and there is also this really hyperactive girl called shreya. haha. oh boy i can tell you how energetic she is man. she just runs around the whole room making everyone chase after her and guess what, the only time when you are able to control her is when she goes to the toilet. HAHA because she has no choice but to listen to ME. well i guess it is also because she needs help going to the toilet. BUT i can tell you this.. I SERIOUSLY think i have the makings of a full bloom mummy when it comes to bringing kids to the toilet man! HAHA.

hmmm lets take today for example, one moment shreya is telling me "i wanna pee pee" and the next moment im holding her hand and rushing to the kids toilet like a mad woman. and guess what. HAHA i feel like a failure la. she was all set to pee already with her pants and pampers down BUT she didnt sit properly sooooo haha. the pee came from the FRONT. i was like AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! :( she wetted the whole floor. BUT luckily i held her legs up high so she didnt wet her pants. THANK GOD for that! haha it was seriously a very tough situation with NO ONE to help me. my slippers were soaked in pee. and i had to carry her to a place where there was no pee on the floor. OH BOY these kids really trained my arm muscles man. HAHA. haha but still just seeing shreya's smiling face against my frustrated face haha just found myself smiling right back at her (:

their lessons are really interesting. and really not what i had in mind. they have music lessons, chinese lessons and special activities to keep them occupied every single minute. but one thing for sure is that, these children always have to drink water and go to the toilet 24/7. its like a daily routine. soon enough i was following their routine too lol :) their special activites are really unique. they have the dramatic corner where children get to play DRESS UP. OH MAN thats the corner i LOVE to the MAX. hahah. we even held weddings there!!! HAHAHA. can you believe it? i just love playing dressing up!!! <3

they also have a MANIPULATIVE CORNER. like woah. what a name! haha its where the kids play with jigsaw puzzles, building blocks etc. HAHA they sure are manipulative TOYs MAN. haha. but its seriously quite fun i tell you i myself really ENJOYED playing with those toys! :)

OHOH and theres this SUPER ULTRA ADORABLE LITTLE GIRL CALLED GLORIA!!! its pretty funny because i was feeding her porridge and she was a pretty slow eater. so i said " GLoria OPEn up your mouth big big and EAT! " and amazingly she did it and i said "WOW gloria really does have a big mouth! " HAHA. and the BIG gloria was actually in front of us HAHA and i intentionally said it to SPITE the big GLORIA. HAHAHA. SO FUNNY! and the big gloria was like "GRACE CHEW was that indirectly FOR ME?!" HAHAHA. i love you GLORIA! the both of YOU! :D all so CUTE :)

so anyway, im going to malaysia early in the morning tomorrow with my parents to pick up my GRANDparents! haha. and bring them to singapore! :) haha. oh but you know what... i just super excited to eat the BAK KUT TEH AND CURRY NOODLE. and of course SEEING My gongong and ahma! hehe *smiles innocently*

and i must say... both put in loads of efforts! HAHA. i really enjoyed myself.

and woah the food was really really gooooood. HAHAHA. do you know that singapore poly has like 6 foodcourts in its campus!!! like S-I-X!!! haha

anyway... the bunch of us went on tours round the school followed by super duper hyper tour guides chattering HAPPILY about how great their school is :D haha

oh yah... i love ngee ann poly's school of humanities---> and the course psychology and community services is really something i enjoy LOOKING INTO. hahaha.

the students there was just telling us that psychology is not all about reading the mind but its also about observing how people behave resulting in their attitudes and thinking. and furthermore, you get to help people!!! haha. okay... so yeah you get to go overseas to do community work and help the people!!! haha.

so OKAY you get the point---> helping people thats the point. :D haha. i sound SO NOBLE.

HAHA. but still i love them. :) and and and we went to daiso!!! and and and i bought these amazingly cool boxes that were like $2 ONLY like OMG. hahahaha. when i returned home... my table was completely transformed with the help of these 2 BOXES! AHHHH> now my table looks like a princess table (prim and proper)!!!! and HOPEFULLY it will continue to be like that for a very longgggg time. :D

went to the library in the morning. borrowed 4 books. or at least that was the limit. HAHHAHA. spend time reading in the library with me myself and i. wonderful experience to be in a quiet place full of strangers and just doing what you like. after a while, THE STOMACH growls and the next thing you would see is grace Just ENJOYING life ---> EATING and READING at a cafe :) HAHA. when it was like 1 plus i went to olive's school to pick her up like I DONT KNOW why she wants me to do it. but since she asked and i am free, so WHY NOT? haha. spent quality time with her in the bus and just thinking how proud i am to be her sister throughout all these years of hardship that we've been through. AHHHH. *sobs* i think im going to cry.

sorry about the previous post. but im okay now :)

2009 has finally come and what a start to the new year by just sleeping over at xinyu's house!!!
HAHAHA. i really really have wonderful super wonderful parents that fetch me home to get my stuff and fetch me back to xinyu's house! LIKE OMG it was already 2am in the morning. arent they the BEST OF THE BEST! :D i love you alot!!!

so anyway the sleepover was practically WATCHING MOVIES all night or let me say morning! wwooo hooo. a few of us just kept spasming the movies. from the sisterhood of travelling pants 2 to miss congeniality to the dark night!!! which i did not even watch finish BECAUSE my parents like CAME to pick me up........................ BUT at least they brought me out to eat nice dimsum :)

sooooo yeah... after that we went to watch a movie THAT ROCKED. "ip man"!!!! okay this is not pure advertising okay. i am really really serious about it. it is definitely a MUST WATCH show. 5 star one. super duper nice :) PLEASE PLEASE go watch it! its super super FANTASTIC>! :D

anyway... fusion night totally brought the house down la. in less than an hour our stall sold everything already! like WOOHOO> the food at the rest of the stalls were really awesome and HAHA we all sure had fun that night.

after that the watchnight service was really sweet. we had this special session of communion that was different from the usual drinking from your own cup kind of thingy. that night... we must exchange our cups with a person that we wanted to reconcile with. so it was indeed a pretty cool sight... seeing people walking here and there exchanging cups. all the happy faces with burdens definitely lifted off their shoulders. hahaha. i was really happy that night. i don't know why. haha but yeah. thank GOd for such a wonderful 2008/.

2008 the year that really stretched me like a RUBBER BAND:

1. o levels - i would really never want to experience it again. one BIG rollercoaster!!!
2. relationships- both family and friends. GAINED alot from it though :)
3. mission trip- the lesson of submission WOOBOY insects>>> *shudders at the sight of them*

haha. thats all i can think of right now. sooooo yeah... 2008 was a blast but as for 2009... ill just leave the surprises to God and let him unravel it to me. :D

HAHA i feel like a failure la. she was all set to pee already with her pants and pampers down BUT she didnt sit properly sooooo haha. the pee came from the FRONT. i was like AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! :( she wetted the whole floor. BUT luckily i held her legs up high so she didnt wet her pants. THANK GOD for that! haha it was seriously a very tough situation with NO ONE to help me. my slippers were soaked in pee. and i had to carry her to a place where there was no pee on the floor. OH BOY these kids really trained my arm muscles man. HAHA. haha but still just seeing shreya's smiling face against my frustrated face haha just found myself smiling right back at her (:

their lessons are really interesting. and really not what i had in mind. they have music lessons, chinese lessons and special activities to keep them occupied every single minute. but one thing for sure is that, these children always have to drink water and go to the toilet 24/7. its like a daily routine. soon enough i was following their routine too lol :) their special activites are really unique. they have the dramatic corner where children get to play DRESS UP. OH MAN thats the corner i LOVE to the MAX. hahah. we even held weddings there!!! HAHAHA. can you believe it? i just love playing dressing up!!! <3

they also have a MANIPULATIVE CORNER. like woah. what a name! haha its where the kids play with jigsaw puzzles, building blocks etc. HAHA they sure are manipulative TOYs MAN. haha. but its seriously quite fun i tell you i myself really ENJOYED playing with those toys! :)

OHOH and theres this SUPER ULTRA ADORABLE LITTLE GIRL CALLED GLORIA!!! its pretty funny because i was feeding her porridge and she was a pretty slow eater. so i said " GLoria OPEn up your mouth big big and EAT! " and amazingly she did it and i said "WOW gloria really does have a big mouth! " HAHA. and the BIG gloria was actually in front of us HAHA and i intentionally said it to SPITE the big GLORIA. HAHAHA. SO FUNNY! and the big gloria was like "GRACE CHEW was that indirectly FOR ME?!" HAHAHA. i love you GLORIA! the both of YOU! :D all so CUTE :)

so anyway, im going to malaysia early in the morning tomorrow with my parents to pick up my GRANDparents! haha. and bring them to singapore! :) haha. oh but you know what... i just super excited to eat the BAK KUT TEH AND CURRY NOODLE. and of course SEEING My gongong and ahma! hehe *smiles innocently*

haha just finished reading the book summer breeze. romance book. super explicit. but to me i think it has a good plot. and the romance needless to say is lovely.

went for 2 poly open houses today. SINGAPORE and NGEE ANN!

and i must say... both put in loads of efforts! HAHA. i really enjoyed myself.

the freebies were super NICE LA! hahaha. all of my friends keep calling me AUNTIE> like WHATEVER LA. the bags are really nice OKAY.

and woah the food was really really gooooood. HAHAHA. do you know that singapore poly has like 6 foodcourts in its campus!!! like S-I-X!!! haha

anyway... the bunch of us went on tours round the school followed by super duper hyper tour guides chattering HAPPILY about how great their school is :D haha

i guess i would do the same if it was my school :)

oh yah... i love ngee ann poly's school of humanities---> and the course psychology and community services is really something i enjoy LOOKING INTO. hahaha.

the students there was just telling us that psychology is not all about reading the mind but its also about observing how people behave resulting in their attitudes and thinking. and furthermore, you get to help people!!! haha. okay... so yeah you get to go overseas to do community work and help the people!!! haha.

so OKAY you get the point---> helping people thats the point. :D haha. i sound SO NOBLE.

anyway... seeing my classmates again was really wonderful. XIANWEI was just the same as ever... showing off whatever SHE HAD. HAHAHA. okay if you get what i mean then SHHHH. cause she will chop off my head and cook curry :)

haha anyway the ride home was really nice too.. had a great chat with mr yeo. haha.... got to know him better and i must say he is a very very extremely smart man when it comes to relationships. SO the girl who ever he falls for is one lucky woman :D haha. but dont worry he's not my cup of tea HAHAHAHA. i prefer sweet tea *beams*

i went out with my fellow dance girls to catch up and stuff. HAHA. photos are in facebook. LOL. funny day... sihua is always the same, laughing as loudly as ever. gladys is just the LOGICAL person.. always talking sense into everything we crap about and cindy STILL doesnt want to tell me the situation of her _ _ _ _ life now!!! HAHA. but still i love them. :) and and and we went to daiso!!! and and and i bought these amazingly cool boxes that were like $2 ONLY like OMG. hahahaha. when i returned home... my table was completely transformed with the help of these 2 BOXES! AHHHH> now my table looks like a princess table (prim and proper)!!!! and HOPEFULLY it will continue to be like that for a very longgggg time. :D

tuesday

went to the library in the morning. borrowed 4 books. or at least that was the limit. HAHHAHA. spend time reading in the library with me myself and i. wonderful experience to be in a quiet place full of strangers and just doing what you like. after a while, THE STOMACH growls and the next thing you would see is grace Just ENJOYING life ---> EATING and READING at a cafe :) HAHA. when it was like 1 plus i went to olive's school to pick her up like I DONT KNOW why she wants me to do it. but since she asked and i am free, so WHY NOT? haha. spent quality time with her in the bus and just thinking how proud i am to be her sister throughout all these years of hardship that we've been through. AHHHH. *sobs* i think im going to cry.

anyway im like late for my appointment now. HAHA. grace gan would probably be waiting for me at the interchange now. *beams* so yeah.. im going to just spend TIME with my wonderful other half over lunch!!!! haha. till then more updates when GRACE brings her old computer back from the DEAD! :)

sorry about the previous post. but im okay now :)

2009 has finally come and what a start to the new year by just sleeping over at xinyu's house!!!
HAHAHA. i really really have wonderful super wonderful parents that fetch me home to get my stuff and fetch me back to xinyu's house! LIKE OMG it was already 2am in the morning. arent they the BEST OF THE BEST! :D i love you alot!!!

so anyway the sleepover was practically WATCHING MOVIES all night or let me say morning! wwooo hooo. a few of us just kept spasming the movies. from the sisterhood of travelling pants 2 to miss congeniality to the dark night!!! which i did not even watch finish BECAUSE my parents like CAME to pick me up........................ BUT at least they brought me out to eat nice dimsum :)

sooooo yeah... after that we went to watch a movie THAT ROCKED. "ip man"!!!! okay this is not pure advertising okay. i am really really serious about it. it is definitely a MUST WATCH show. 5 star one. super duper nice :) PLEASE PLEASE go watch it! its super super FANTASTIC>! :D

anyway... fusion night totally brought the house down la. in less than an hour our stall sold everything already! like WOOHOO> the food at the rest of the stalls were really awesome and HAHA we all sure had fun that night.

after that the watchnight service was really sweet. we had this special session of communion that was different from the usual drinking from your own cup kind of thingy. that night... we must exchange our cups with a person that we wanted to reconcile with. so it was indeed a pretty cool sight... seeing people walking here and there exchanging cups. all the happy faces with burdens definitely lifted off their shoulders. hahaha. i was really happy that night. i don't know why. haha but yeah. thank GOd for such a wonderful 2008/.

2008 the year that really stretched me like a RUBBER BAND:

1. o levels - i would really never want to experience it again. one BIG rollercoaster!!!
2. relationships- both family and friends. GAINED alot from it though :)
3. mission trip- the lesson of submission WOOBOY insects>>> *shudders at the sight of them*

haha. thats all i can think of right now. sooooo yeah... 2008 was a blast but as for 2009... ill just leave the surprises to God and let him unravel it to me. :D
